Considering going to an LS3 but cant afford to change transmissions at this point but something I may do in the future. Will i have any problems getting the T5 to mount to the back of the LS3 block? I assume I will need a new bell housing. Is that a good assumption? will I have to go hydrolic clutch? Sep 04, 2016 · I'm using a 1974 GM 454 truck bellhousing with a larger bore sizing ring and mechanical to hydraulic clutch conversion flange. The T5 is from a 2.5 S10. I figured the 4.8 has nearly the same HP rating as an injected 350 and they put the T5 behind the 80s 350 camaros, so it should hold up in my opinion... hopefully lol.
